VBAC - Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Relaxation (Free)
It is quite natural to feel some anxiety about your decision to have a vaginal birth. You have probably heard a lot from your care providers about the risks of your scar opening up during labour, however they may not have told you some of the things which can help you work with your body. In particular, it is so important for you to relax. When we feel anxious, our muscles tense and as the uterus is a muscle it is key that we allow it to work as effectively as possible. This fits in with research where the increased risks were with mums who had been induced. In this scenario, the contractions are stronger as the body is forced to labour when it does not believe it is ready to do so.
In this download I will work with you to create a state of relaxation which, when practised, you will be able to switch on during your labour.

Our bodies are amazing during both pregnancy and labour, but if you have concerns about your pelvis being too small, whether this is as a result of previous or current birth experiences, this can increase your anxiety and actually impact your birth.
This download is not designed for those who have known medical pelvic issues which prevent natural birth, if you do have known medical pelvic issues, please speak with your care provider about the birth choices available to you. If natural birth is open to you, then this download will help you gain confidence in your bodies abilities and it will enable you to specifically relax that area of your birth during labour.

Happiest Baby on the Block by Harvey Karp
Happiest Baby on the Block DVD is a practical guide as to how to calm a newborn baby. The reason I particularly like it is because it focuses on the idea that the baby has a fourth trimester and that in order to calm them, the environment they have just come from should be considered and replicated.
